Strymon has announced immediate availability of a mechanically redesigned SVpre for the Line6 Spider Valve HD100. The tube preamp had to be reworked to fit within a mechanical design that differed from the Spider Valve combos.

Strymon, a new music electronics start-up has just released the SVpre, a tube preamp modification for the Line6 Spider Valve series of amps. According to Strymon, the SVpre improves dynamics and tone and makes your Spider Valve sound more like a “real” tube amp.

The product seems to be getting quite a bit of attention over on the Line6 forums.
